(Addthis.com) that uses canvas fingerprints instead of cookies to track users’ activity over the Web for purpose of serving targeted ads.

Canvas fingerprinting works by instructing a user’s Web browser to draw a hidden image that is different from computer to computer. DO NOT TRACK REQUESTS
